Since 1982, Rockland Elks Hall Rental & Catering has led the midcoast Maine area in catering and event planning. We can help you plan the event of your dreams and offer you a memorable experience in our elegant and spacious venue.

We specialize in custom catering menus and offer wait and bar service as an added option. Whatever your event, we can make it the most special. Be it casual or elegant, we will make your occasion memorable.

We provide the highest level of service, and freshly made cuisine, it’s your event, so you tell us what you want, and we'll make it happen for you. No menu is too small or too big. Whatever your tastes, our chef staff will design just the right menu for you and your guests.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

No food and/or beverage may be brought onto the premises. All food and beverage items must be provided by the Rockland Elks Lodge.

The Elks Lodge has a Maine State Liquor License, which prohibits alcoholic beverages being brought onto the premises. A cash or open bar can be provided by the Elks Lodge . If alcoholic beverages are being served, the State age minimum of 21 must be observed. We reserve the right to refuse service for reasons deemed in our interest.

The Lessee will not be allowed to take any food or beverage items which are not consumed by those in attendance. The specified items remain the property of the Elks Lodge even if the lessee did not reach the contracted headcount.

The Elks does not accept credit cards

Five (5) business days prior to the function, a guaranteed number of persons in attendance must be submitted. The final headcount may be adjusted, within reason, up to 48 hours prior to the date of the event.

A guarantee of 100 people or more is required per contract. Special considerations may be permitted as long as it’s agreed upon by the business manager.

A four hundred dollar ($400.00) non-refundable deposit is required on any catered event. Cancellation is requested no later than 5 days prior to the function. Cancellation not received in a timely manner is subject to charges of up to 50% of the minimum guarantee.

Payment for food, beverage functions, and banquet hall rentals will be made in full, 24 hours before the day of the event, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

The patron will be responsible for any loss or damage to the Rockland Elks property.

Scotch or masking tape my not be used on equpment, walls, or ceiling. Electrical equipment or extension cords may not be used without prior approval by the Rockland Elks Lodge.

The Rockland Elks Lodge requires security officers to be present at functions where liquor is served and this charge is passed onto the lessee.

Last call will be given at 30 minutes prior to the end of the function.

This contract is void if it cannot be performed because of government regulations, accidents, disputes or uncontrollable circumstances.

No helium balloons will be allowed in the building. All decorations must be removed immediately after the event. Certain decorations such as sand, sparkles, etc. must be approved by the banquet manager prior to use.

RENTAL RATES

The rates below apply to all rentals for event meetings, class reunions, dances, etc.

Hall Rental ............. .$600.00 for non-member .......... ......$450.00 for member (immediate family)

 

ABOVE PRICE INCLUDES:

1. Head table for bridal party.
2. Round tables seating 8 people or long tables available.
3. Microphone

4. Room arrangement
5. Tableclothes and paper napkins for catered events.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR EVENTS:

1. Linen Napkins and tableclothes
2. Cash or open bar.
3. Sound system $200.00 (for music)
4. Extra hour $200.00
5. Wedding cake cutting $50.00

6. Use of hall for marriage ceremony before reception $200.00
7. You may decorate for three hours with no charge between 11:00 am. to 5:00 p.m., if available. Three Hundred dollar charge ($300.00) for full day prior to event, if hall is available.
