For over 100 years Rockland Lodge #1008 has been a chartered member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE). The Order was founded on the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity. Rockland #1008 has been a loyal representative of the Order throughout the midcoast region of Maine. 

Rockland Lodge #1008 along with 21 other member lodges in the state of Maine have provided many charitable works to their communities via programs, scholarships, and grants to various individuals and organizations.

The mission of the Elks National Foundation (ENF) is to help Elks build stronger communities. We fulfill this pledge by investing in communities where Elks live and work.
